Sphere was built on a simple belief: mortgage broking should be about expertise and client outcomes, not sales targets and commissions.

That's why from day one, we've done things differently.

Our brokers are salaried, which means they can take the time to properly strategise with clients without pressure to rush deals through. We focus on long-term relationships, sticking around after settlement to reprice loans, review strategies, and support clients through their whole property journey.

We work with everyone from first-home buyers just starting to save, to experienced investors building multi-property portfolios. What connects them all is that they want thoughtful advice, clear explanations, and a broker who's in it for the long haul.

Since 2013, we've grown from a one-person operation to a team of high-performing brokers. We've helped over 4,000 clients, earned 500+ five-star reviews, and work with clients across NSW and nationally. But the mission hasn't changed: strategy first, clients at the centre, always.

  • Rachelle Kroon is one of Australia’s most respected mortgage brokers and the founder of Sphere Home Loans. She started Sphere in 2013 with a clear vision: to give clients access to strategic, thoughtful lending advice that puts their future first.

    In just her third year as a broker, Rachelle became the top female broker in Australia. Since then, she has built Sphere into one of the country’s leading broking businesses, recognised for its service, performance and client-first approach. Her background in finance, lender relationships and credit training gives her deep technical expertise, while her experience as a property investor brings real-world perspective to every conversation.

    Rachelle is also the author of The Quick Start Guide to Your First Property and co-host of This Is Property, where she helps Australians make smarter property and finance decisions.

    Outside Sphere: Rachelle loves travelling with her husband Andy and watching their sons play rugby. Her eldest son, Kyle, is also a Mortgage Broker at Sphere.
